holding hands

Last night on the news there was a story about a man who lost both his hands and feet through a blood infection.  He recently received a hand transplant and is experiencing life in a new and profound way. We were watching with awe as this man was able to play cards and shave for the first time in years.  And then A said, ‘Did you see the look on his wife’s face when they were holding hands? Imagine not being able to hold hands, and then being able to’.

I melted a little bit.
